Egg[]
You can see something stirring inside this gelatinous, sickly-green egg.
Hatchling[]
You find yourself having to constantly keep an eye on the feisty little dragon that hatched from this egg. It's already an adept climber and often tries to hide itself in places that are difficult for you to reach.
Mature Hatchling[]
You've now begun to find strands of webbing decorating the hiding places of the hatchling, though you can't find any signs of spiders in the area. The dragon is also developing a set of spines on its head and tail and will display them when it feels threatened.
Adult[]
Spider Silks are a small species of dragon with a highly venomous bite. The name originates from their ability to produce a jet of silk from a gland beneath their jaw, which is often used to entangle prey when they hunt. This silk is incredibly strong due to its magical properties, and is easily capable of holding the weight of the adults. Spider Silks make their lairs deep in the heart of the jungle and only venture outside in the middle of the Autumn to breed. They tend to lurk high in the trees, weaving together huge communal nests and feasting on anything unfortunate enough to wander beneath them. It is rumoured that by draping one's self in the silk of this dragon a person can safely pass through their territory, and it has become common practice during the Autumn months for visitors to the jungles to wear costumes woven from this silk to protect them.
