Lepin are a holiday creature released on the 27th of March 2016, as part of the Easter 2016 Release. They were released alongside the Spring seasonal, the Storm Herald.
Descriptions[]
Egg[]
This brown egg is crisscrossed with blue stripes.
Hatchling[]
With one final crack a fluffy brown ball of fur and down tumbles out of the egg. It already seems to be spoiling for a fight.
Mature Hatchling[]
Now about the size of a small pony, the young rabbit is already sporting the nubs of antlers. Its flight feathers have started to come in, and, thankfully, it is no longer quite as rambunctious.
Adult[]
Lepin are a cantankerous lot. If not bonded with from the moment they hatch they respond poorly to training and can become a nuisance due to their size and breeding habits. Due to this nature the elves who also call the forest home have taken great pains to ensure it is rare to see them in the wild.
While resembling the much smaller rabbits, Lepin lack the innate prey instinct and will instead readily leap into battle with their rider or fearlessly scout out the depths of the forest. Their massive antlers and the ability to fly keeps any would-be predators at bay and make them ideal partners for the elven scouts.
During the spring months Lepin bucks start getting more and more restless till even the well trained ones become as unruly as their wild counterparts. Within a month the forest is dotted with large nests housing a small clutch of eggs.

According to MonstrHugger, The name Lepin is a combination of Lepus, the scientific name for hares, and Lapin, the French word for rabbit/bunny.
The concept is based on the mythological Wolpertinger.
